Btclare: ------------------------------ 2013 --- We'll be back out on the trail again this year, hoping to complete the 330 mile section between Mt Washington and the northern terminus of the Appalachian Trail, Mt Katahdin, ME. I can't wait to see what new adventures the trail brings! ------------------------------ 2012 --- Rather than relaxing on a beach or playing "Marco-Polo" in a pool, this summer I am planning on Hiking from West Virginia to Maine. My wife Heather (Flicka) will be right there beside me, or, more likely, 100 yards behind me (she didn't give me the trail name Daddy Long Legs for nothing). We will be starting our hike on June 23rd and finishing up at the very end of August. In all there are 70 days we can hike but we were hoping 10 of them could be no hiking days or "Zero's" as they call them. Now we aren't doing this because we are masochists, or because we couldn't think of anything better to do, it has been a goal of mine to hike the A.T. for ten years now. Also, I'll be turning 30 (ahhh!!!) this summer and I couldn't think of a better place to pass that point-of-no-return than being out in nature doing what I love to do (peeing in the woods).
